If you are looking to explore the region a bit wider. Take the short drive over the hill to Wantabadgery where you’ll find Sandy Beach along the banks of the beautiful Murrumbidgee River.
Continue on to Tumblong Hills Winery for a tasting.
You could consider taking a drive to Coolamon 40min, Temora 50min, Bethungra 24min or Wagga Wagga 45min. As well as a number of smaller villages along the way.
The local Coolamon Cheese maker and cafe is where we source our cheese.
Temora is the where you will find the aviation museum and the host of the Warbirds Downunder airshow.
In Bethungra you'll find the School House cafe, the Bethungra spiral railway viewing platform and the Bethungra Dam with picnic area.
Wagga Wagga the largest inland city in NSW has much to choose from including the botanical gardens, National Art Glass gallery, riverside parklands among many other activities.
A fantastic season experience is to take drive along the Canola Trail during the flowering season to see the sea of endless yellow blooms to the horizon.
